An online business and community hub - Riverbed and their development partner Objective Consulting Inc. designed and implemented a website for the West Seattle Junction Association. This was a great opportunity to connect the social and economic sides to a thriving community in West Seattle. The people of the community needed an online experience that keeps them informed of all the activities in The Junction. The businesses in The Junction needed a place to connect to residents in the area to promote their local products and services. This website has become the main communication tool for those connections and a community builder for West Seattle. The Junction Association is an organization of Junction businesses that aims to develop, promote and participate in activities that enhance a healthy social, economic and environmental climate for the West Seattle Junction community. Riverbed designed the 2010 report to communicate how Pioneer’s clients go through the process of recapturing their lives. We worked with Alex Steele of Ecomaven and Associates, who wrote the exceptional copy and Jed Share who photographed the beautiful portraits. Each story highlights a particular stage in the process; recovery, active guidance, reentry, trust, and purpose. In the past, Pioneer has stayed away from spotlighting specific details of clients stories. With this report, that shifted. Working in collaboration, we discovered the closer you get to the particular aspects of these stories the more you could identify with them.
